Inspired after a recent trip to the World Spice Merchants by Pike Place Market, I couldn’t resist using this Limon-Chile seasoning as the perfect cocktail rim. Made with white rum, Campari, orange juice, simple, and soda water, it’s the perfect tug-of-war between bitter, sweet, and spicy!

I made this recipe after a quick trip to Seattle, where I discovered the perfect spice shop, the World Spice Merchants. I purchased some Limon-Chile seasoning, and as soon as I tasted it I knew it belonged in a cocktail.
If you’re unable to find this exact spice blend for your glass rim, you can substitute it with this.
I’m making this cocktail with white rum, Campari, orange juice, simple syrup, soda water, and optional mandarin orange slices. Feel free to improvise. Aperol would work well as a substitute, and bonus points if you get orange-flavored soda water!
I’ll be using a couple of tools from my favorite cocktail kit, which you can check out here.
Save some time and check out my reel to see how I do it!
And, if you’re in need of more creative cocktails, then you should definitely check out this fun twist on a French 75, made with butterfly pea simple syrup.
