The Perfect Sparkling Strawberry Daiquiri
A classic daiquiri is made with rum, lime juice, and simple syrup. This recipe includes freshly muddled strawberries and is topped off with sparkling wine. Today, I’ll be using my favorite cocktail kit, which you can find here.
Want to make your own simple syrup? Easy! Just combine equal portions (by volume) of sugar and hot water. Stir until dissolved and let chill completely before using. I recommend making this in batches so you always have some when you need it.

Make it a Mocktail!
We all loved drinking virgin daiquiris on summer days as kids – and this recipe can easily be made alcohol-free for that very occasion!
Here is the alcohol-free version:
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- 1/2 ounce lime juice
- 2-3 strawberries
- Sparkling water or Sprite to the top
- Lime peel, for garnish
Make this exactly as above, muddling the strawberries and then adding the simple and lime juice. Shake, strain, top with sparkling water, garnish, and serve!
