After asking my followers what I should do with all the perfect, plump blackberries I have in my backyard, I decided to make this blackberry mojito. While the results were mixed, making a cocktail won out by a hair.

Ingredients & Gear
A classic mojito is made with white rum, mint, lime, sugar, and club soda. For this recipe, I will be making the simple adjustment of adding blackberries and swapping pure sugar for simple syrup.
As for the gear required, I’ll be using a cocktail shaker and a jigger for measuring. I recommend serving your blackberry mojito in a tall glass.
Make it a Mocktail Blackberry Mojito
This blackberry mojito not only tastes great as is, but it makes into a delicious mocktail with just one trick…
Omit the rum and simple syrup, and swap soda water for…. lemon-lime soda!
Trust me, adults and kids alike will love this drink. If you don’t have lemon-lime soda, you can keep the soda water and simple syrup, but I think it tastes best with the lemon-lime soda.
