A classic daiquiri is made with rum, lime juice, and simple syrup. This recipe includes freshly muddled strawberries and is topped off with sparkling wine. Today, I’ll be using my favorite cocktail kit, which you can find here.

Want to make your own simple syrup? Easy! Just combine equal portions (by volume) of sugar and hot water. Stir until dissolved and let chill completely before using. I recommend making this in batches so you always have some when you need it.
